That's where my fascination still lies. I am most interested in how humanity finds a cure, so of course that includes a lot of zombie stuff. I think this was one of the main reasons I lost interest in TWD, as there was no progression in that aspect, and maybe I'll be left disappointed in this one too...maybe not.
