But since I started 20 years ago, I always understood the phrase “thin blue line” as the only thing protecting good people from bad. For some people, a swastika is a symbol of protection, but for most people in the western world, it brings up other images. Someone refusing to take it down is a little ton def or initially trying to make a point.
