I'm surprised we didn't have a sportsnet documentary "The assault of 97" a 6 part series that covers the brutal assault on McDavid, the reconvening of the Nurenberg courts, and McDavid's heart breaking and tough to watch 5 minutes of recovery on the bunch all lovingly shot in black and white with sad music. Followed by his recovery and return to ice shot in virtual reality with the song stylings of Frank Sinatra.
