I have recommended I Never Had It Made: An Autobiography of Jackie Robinson by Jackie Robinson and Alfred Duckett in a couple of book threads.

Great book, not enough credit is given to Jackie's wife IMO. Just a great, great lady who if anyone watched the Dodgers game Sunday still exudes class and dignity to this day. An amazing read on not only Jackie's struggles but how it affected his family as well.

I am now reading Roberto Clemente's autobiography which so far is a great read.
