He didn’t over commit. He played the puck where it was going and Coleman deflected it even further away from him. That’s not an overcommitment. Goalies get beat when the puck goes in an unexpected way.
Coleman misses that puck, Markstrom makes the save. Coleman deflects it away, no save needed.
Flames didn’t just play bad D, they caused two goals - one by a deflection into the net, one by a deflection to a Hawk stick.
