It is true, the seeds of this have been happening for a long time already (I have alluded to it at least 3 times in this thread over the last two weeks.)
1. She is having immense trouble keeping the looneys in line. Whatever moderates are left are now panicking because they feel shut out
2. Between wild spending and softening oil prices, the much vaunted surplus is now gone. This has pissed off the looneys and kicked them into a frenzy.
3. The moderates have given her benefit of the doubt long enough now and are starting to see the support they had left within their ridings degrade- it's hard to defend this obstruction story, and her waffling on the story makes her look extremely untrustworthy.
Internal polling is far worse than public polling.
