Nope, it isn't pure enough to be converted back into glass. The glass from the bottle depots gets converted into fiberglass insulation, the glass from the blue carts gets ground up and used for sand blasting.
Which is really too bad, as using glass cullet instead of virgin glass for fiberglass saves a great deal of energy and makes a big environmental difference, whereas using crushed glass instead of sand for sandblasting is borderline greenwashing - it would very likely save energy to throw the glass in the black bin and dig up new sand.
