I said this exact same thing when it happened.
Nobody voted for her. She has no mandate.
The concept that a party can be elected into Government and then just swap leaders halfway through and the only way any Albertan gets any say in it is to pay that party a fee for a vote is absolutely insane and, I dont use this term lightly, but 'Undemocratic.'

If the leader of the Governing party is, for whatever reason, deemed to have lost the Confidence of his party.....then call an Election with a new leader.
This BS is absolute madness. What stops any party from winning a mandate and then just parachuting in some random clown to take over after the deed is done?
Hell, Notley should plant that as part of her platform, she'd get a lot of credit from me for it.
