The numbers he has posted in junior and the AHL are simply insane. We’d all be so much more excited about a forward putting up the equal elite numbers for their own position as Wolf has in comparison to many of his goaltending peers, but the goalie “voodoo” just makes it hard to dive in fully to the hype for many fans.

The team needs to be seriously considering Wolf as the backup next year, not much more to prove in the AHL. Lots of season left to see which of the NHL tendies has the higher upside, but trading one of them certainly helps cap wise next seadon, and could bring in some assets from a position of strength. With that said, I’m bullish on a Markstrom resurgence here in the second half that will make him valuable for some team to take a flyer on. And obviously Vladar is an up and coming goalie that lots of teams would desire.
