It's part of the job for a head coach to interact with the media. We have seen and heard enough to know that Darryl is a good guy in general away from the game so I don't understand why he has to be so prickly with media. I don't think it endures him to the fans and I don't think it's a great look for the team in general. You can just imagine what Coronato and other rookies are thinking about when the see the clips and the chatter about Sutter not wanting to play rookies.

I really wonder if it has to do with the quality of questions (some) reporters ask. He has often answered questions with “you guys should know that”. He seems like the guy who would like to have a hockey conversation, not give cliche answers.
