Bought some gold jewelry in India for my wife. I was amazed at the price so bought more than I planned. As I was flying home and filling in customs forms I realized that jet-lagged me had dropped a zero in my currency conversion. Not to mention somehow believing that gold sells for much different prices in different countries.
My wife was thrilled, me not so much.
