I think there's no way they can gaurantee him a spot in the show next season which makes a signing after this season less likely. Not that it wont happen, just less likely for sure

That now gets him 1 additional season away from his degree and the loophole. Not being paranoid, just stating the facts.

I hate the college loophole. Its so dumb. why not put a clause in that if the team offers max elc deals the player cant sign elsewhere. easy fix.
