Instead I learned that I work in an industry of hazing and masogynists, that my website is dated and full of boomers, and that I'm not a real fan. On the other side we question those that haven't played the game, we call people snow flakes, and we suggest a person is becoming the next Eric Francis.
Not a banner day.
I may need a break from this place.

I just gave ya a bit of a tease on another post before seeing this one. Sorry if that contributes to I'll feelings.
This place is a great microcosm of the outside world. Things are getting more polarized and people becoming less reserved while "disagreeing" every day. I find myself reading 1 in 4 comments at most in these pgts, and in general life have just had to take less offense to pretty much everything lately.
Anyways, yesterday not a great day in this thread... but it's just hockey. It's just a forum. Who honestly gives a #### what supermatt (or anyone else anonymously here) thinks at end of day about an industry or a job. It does suck that some people here are known people and thus their reputations are more attached than others. But that's outside of your control.
For guys like scorp, he'll have to have thick skin for life to follow his career path so I'm sure he can handle some dirty jabs.
I liked that other fellows thread about separating the emotion from team following in sports the other day.
