For me it's the disrespect of saying "What's his number" like he doesn't know, and actually not taking the time to provide an actual answer.
If he said "Thought he was okay, needs to work on defensive positioning and strength on the boards" then I would have had no issue. An actual insightful and respectful answer, while still providing the same general outcome of keeping Pelletier humble if that was his goal.
I would never expect him to come out and say "Pelletier was great!"
But there is big difference between constructive critique and what Sutter did tonight.
