I was going to comment that Kerr's tweet is interesting as both him and Sutter are employed by CSEC, however, I quickly looked it up and saw that Kerr left his position in October.

On the matter at hand, Sutter likely doesn't view dealing with the media as part of his job but rather to win games. And we don't know if that's something that his employers have agreed to or not.

I don't disagree that a head coach though is one of the faces of the org and what they say matters. He tends to appreciate and respond better to intelligent questions, as he did earlier in the week when he expanded on Pelletier and development overall.

I'm also someone that gravitates to positive energy more than negativity.

In this specific case I thought Sutter's comments were a miss-guided attempt to be funny. But regardless still of the mark and a missed opportunity.

I've never liked this side of Sutter. But if you hire him as your coach, I think you are accepting what he is, warts and all.
