Sutter is 100% focused on the ultimate goal of winning cups. He even made a comment in this exact same press conference telling you this with his most Flames HC wins answer. He doesn’t have any interest in the side show. He wants to come and coach, and do his job without attention. He is stoic to the maximum. His ego is zero. Perhaps he does like the attention a little to his sarcastic quick witted stand up routine bit but who wouldn’t. Steven Wright shouldn’t get all the limelight.
His self confidence is 100%. He has a successful lifetime hockey career at all levels to support it. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks about his responses to being questioned about surface level and irrelevant to him things. He’ll do his job behind the scenes to the absolute best ability and if the crop can be harvested in the end we’ll all eat.
