I went to a local brewery the other day to pick up a flat of beer. I couldn't believe it when the taproom staff flipped the point of sale around and presented me with tipping options. I damn near walked out. Why the #### would I tip after picking out beer from the fridge and paying for it? I can maybe, MAYBE, see the argument if I bought a keg and they helped me out to the car with it. Thankfully cooler heads prevailed and I hit the tiny no tip button and am now enjoying said beer. Still really irked me and is a sign of tipping truly jumping the shark.
