You're the one coming to the defence of a low-effort troll who hasn't expressed the slightest interest in good faith discussion, and also hasn't expressed the slightest indignation at his treatment (which isn't to say someone should have to complain to not get ridiculed, but the golden rule is simply playing out here).
This is not an example of the uncouth "Left" brow-beating a poor victim for having the audacity to espouse dissenting views, no matter how much you want it to be...I can't imagine any other reason why you'd jump in like you did, but feel free to enlighten me.
If you don't like the devolution of the conversation, then why not offer a thoughtful comment that would lead to meaningful discussion? There is no shortage of topics right now.
