To be fair, I do love that site and buy a ton of outdoor gear from there, but the way they do their "deals" is a bit irritating. Except I check and they've been changed to 25% off. 25% off stacked with a discount code is... 40% off. Nothing has changed.

I'm sure this works because people are stupid but it's a pretty annoying practice.

Didn't Sport Chek get into trouble for something similar?

I think it was found they artificially inflated prices only to drop them to make it look like a sale.
