Kadri is almost on pace for a career high in goals, and on pace for his second best season in points. What’s the point of Huberdeau accumulating stats with a style of play that isn’t conducive to winning tough games?

Again - look at his coaching history. Last season was the glaring anomaly in terms of getting the most out of his star players which suggests highly to me that it had nothing to do with the coach, and everything to do with three high end players finding amazing chemistry and scoring at rates which were quite frankly unsustainable. It's been two decades since any other player scored a point a game or more in his system.
His handling of Huberdeau specifically both on and off the ice (with the media) has been flat out embarrassing. His confidence is absolutely shattered. This team is having no fun.
