I don't think the team plays better in front of one goalie or the other. With both goalies being big in size, the only thing different right now is that Vladar is positionally way better than Markstrom. Vladar is using his size advantage really well and he doesn't need to make a lot of spectacular saves. Markstrom, on the other hand, for a big goalie, he's playing like a small goalie and trying to make plays everywhere in the defensive zone up to the blue line if he sees fit. The only reason why the team in front of Markstrom plays differently is because they need to scramble to save Markstrom's ass!
Like what Sutter had said in the past, it's hard to play catch-up every game, especially when you're down 2 or 3 goals from the first period.
Anyway, enough talk about Markstrom. He's actually doing the Flames organization a favor.
