It's green energy, something Scott Moe has said "to hell with" Trudeau creating policies around. It was basically a publicity stop, it sounds like. It wasn't sitting down with stakeholders, not that Moe is interested in that. So when someone has fought you at every step, why invite them to collect political points on the very things they are against? These are what are known as "consequences", something toddlers learned about. Apparently Moe and Smith have not.
