Leafs had a goal disallowed that was kicked from the red line to the top of the crease and bounced off an opposing player into the net. Kick was not *into* the net but was still called a kick.
This is similar, rule seems to be if the would be goal scorer kicks it...somewhere...before it enters the net even off a diff player.
Which begs the question, how many pinballs post kick does the kick no longer count as the kick that caused the goal. I hope this happens in a game 7 personally.
