Should we start tracking if a goalie makes the save in the middle of his glove or with the edge of it.
But it’s a fun thing for sure. It feels different when a shot rings off the post.

Yeah, it's an "oooh" moment for the crowd, that's why the focus on it. But ultimately you were close but didn't beat the goalie, didn't score. And with goalies now a days, scoring is a game of inches. The inches that hit the post are the same as the inches that miss the post by an inch. Close but no cigar.
