Look, largely I agree with you, but they have to accommodate the lowest common denominator.
The traffic circle I use daily is right off Glenmore, there are lots of very large industrial vehicles and they dont navigate traffic circles all that well.
Hell...I've seen a City Bus go through it sideways on more than one occasion. It happens and the bus cant stay home.
