If it were possible to trade Huberdeau before that $10.5 cap hit for 8 years kicks in, I would do it. In hindsight, I wish we would have let him go as a UFA and threw money at either Horvat or Meier next season
I would love to eat crow on this, but I think that Huberdeau contract is going to sink this team for almost a decade, either by being stuck with it or having to overpay to get someone to take it.
