Are you referring to the ones at light-controlled intersections? Those ones are timed with the lights, we're not talking about those; I mean the ones placed randomly in the middle of the road where you've got the ladder crossing painted on the road and a button with flashing lights overhead. I've never seen automatic sensors used for those.
