It’s seems crazy to me that there still isn’t a developmental league for the NFL. The jump from college to the NFL is just too big for most QBs, and having a league equivalent to the AHL or the G-league would really help develop some of them.
With the short seasons and massive fan base it seems like it should be viable. It would also keep a lot more players up to speed to fill in for the huge amount of injuries in the league.

Is it bigger now than before? Or is it just teams not being patient? Are there more QB busts now than before?
Using Aikman above as an example, he was a first overall pick thrown into a Dallas team that went 1-15, and at one point lost 14 straight home games, and didn't even have their first overall pick the next year!
