Yes, he struggled in the first half of the season. But, as you say, he is playing better lately. Can't we just focus on that?

Not seeing improvement. A little more opportunistic, but not much change in his game to where you think he's coming around. Still struggling with the puck, still not finding his teammates, and still not finding the net. I think its a confidence thing and he could use a break to reset. Let him watch a lot of film from the start of last season and see if he can get untracked.
