That's typically the case when you look at AHL superteams constructed with guys in their late 20s and early 30s. But the Wranglers are succeeding on the back of Flames draft picks who are scoring at excellent rates — Pelletier, Zary, and Phillips — plus Wolf.
It takes a great degree of dissonance to look at that production from young players, see the head coach not playing those guys when they're called up, and scratch your head saying "well, they must just not be good enough." It doesn't make any sense.
