Things are going to be bad for this organization for the next 7-9 years, but realistically, we shouldn't expect things to change until ownership does. It is unbelievably frustrating when it was very obvious how this would end up in the off-season, and the team went all in anyway.
The Flames used to be part of my persona, but I find myself caring less and less. Not upset after losses. Not excited by the odd win. And to be honest, my life is better for it. The Flames organization has no desire to win, so why should I care?
I find myself spending less and less on the team. No jerseys. No tickets. The only thing I'm paying for now is cable to watch them. And even that feels like a chore and an overpayment.
