I was also too young to watch the original Addams Family just slightly so there is no nostalgic feeling for me there.
I really do love Jenna Ortega's work and am a sucker for anyone that stars in A24 films and felt she did a solid job in X.
But I don't know if i'm going to continue this show 2 episodes in.. I definitely do understand why it's breaking records and an absolute hit with other age groups however.

My wife and I are way older than 31 and we're loving the show. (nobody spoil it as we've only finished episode 6. We're finishing it off on the weekend)
Maybe we'd love it more if we were teens, but it's a solid show that's great for all ages. We're very happy that it's picked up for a second season.
