Beating Cuphead on the regular difficulty (ie: the harder of the two initial options) was so rewarding. You'd play a level or boss and get SO close and then screw it up, but you kept getting a little bit further, a bit further still, and then KNOCKOUT and you let out this big "HAH, FECK YOU, YOU STUPID BOSS" of relief.
The DLC is absolutely kicking my arse though.
