Yeah I get what Sutter is trying to do, which is if the other team is starting with their most dangerous duo, put out a defensive unit and survive that shift, and then you have a better chance when you put your guys out there.
And tonight it worked for that first shift.
The issue was giving up possession on a low percent chance instead of hanging on and allowing your top guys to get on the ice.
