Hey boyz(and girls), I'm in a bit of a sitchy and I need some help! Now that another school semester is behind me, I'm setting out today to do some applyin. Only I've got a problem: I started growing a playoff beard the day the playoffs started. It's not out of hand at all right now since it's been just under a week, just stubbly(think Miami Vice
), and Ive kept it off my neck and cheeks. It's at the point where the girlfriend doesn't even mind it still, so it ain't bad. But still, dropping off resumes with stubbly facial hair is of course not a desired idea. I've got almost black hair too, so my stubble's quite dark-looking, and therefore very noticeable.
It's only student summer work, no career-type jobs(I'd of course shave if that were the case). Although a few of the places I'm applying to are in retail(liquor stores), so I'm wondering if I should shave. So I ask you Flames fans, what should I do?? Do I dare shave off my playoff beard only two games into round 1?
