Disagree - making the pass into the high danger area isn't that difficult, these are NHLers that have put up points before.

To a man, they circle wide on the cycle, but refrain from trying to make the pass, carefully looking for a safe play. I think they are mandated to keep the risk of a turnover down.

They just keep doing the same thing, over and over (passing it to the point). Maybe they have all lost their hockey skill at the same time, but that seems pretty unlikely to me.
