there would be 435 people with no constraints on what they did once elected, they would happily promise any rubbish to get the rubes to vote for them then sell themselves to the highest bidder, do what ever was in their own best interest, pretty much all of them would be bought by billionaires, nothing would ever get done and there would be no one the voters could hold to account for nothing getting done, so you dont vote for John Smith and he gets kicked out, how does that change anything if there are no parties?
