For me it's less a traitor thing but more a couple ways of thinking about it
- If you say the name Al MacInnis to most hockey fans, would they think of him immediately as a Blue or Flame
- If he's on the Blues Mt. Rushmore can he also be on the Flames. My initial reaction is no. But then I think there are other examples where they player would be on both. But not a ton. Gretzky would be on the Kings and Oilers Mt. Rushmore. Bourque would maybe be on both the Bruins and Avs (though I would disagree with that). There's probably others but I'm struggling to come up with them.
So that's why I didn't vote for him.
A Flames D Mt. Rushmore is also fun to think of:
Macinnis, Suter, Gio: Slam dunks.
The 4th is trickier: for me it's Reinhart or Macoun. But you could actually make a pretty good argument for TJ Brodie.
