And if you use tire shine, it WILL spin off and show up as black streaks/spots if you don't wipe it off and let it set sufficiently. I've had my car professionally detailed, and even then all it took was the drive home to have spots down the side from it.

For silver, it just looks too old man for me and I realize that's coming from a guy with a beige Mercedes.
Yeah, I've watched some install tutorials on that steering wheel. I just don't feel like putting $2k into a steering wheel for this car right now. Plus it looks a bit cheesy. Been eyeing something sportier like an M240i, but the Merc is still 100% trouble free even with 105,000 kms, so I'm not going to do anything until it starts letting me down or I get bored of it.
