But yes, quality of opposition does have to be taken into account. Any team would look great and appear to have amazing chemistry playing a whole bunch of games vs bottom feeding teams.

If I'm coaching a hockey team I don't coach by results. It has to be the process and then you hope your roster has the ability to convert the chances.
The Flames with the existing lines and pairings have given up less and generated more.
I don't go away from that formula because they're hitting too many goal posts.
Completely blows me away that I had to argue that strength of schedule matters for weeks on end, and now I'm being told it matters as a reason why we shouldn't leave the lines alone and need to demote Lucic.
