And Sutter wasn't interested in giving the farm players a real look that year either... Until he did. So kind of like what has been going on here this year again. Not sure why proof that he does indeed insert farm players with cup winning results somehow proves to you that he won't do it this year?

I think Lombardi was adding skilled players that could score and win and cared less about "Sutter" type players.
A lot of those player on that team don't scream grinders to me. Maybe Sutter is having a adverse impact on the team by influencing roster moves.
It seems like Sutter gets the most success on teams that are built by the GM and he just coaches and doesn't impact any roster moves.
