I’m expecting this to be a grind all the way to the end of the season. Likely sliding in and out of a wild card spot, a divisional spot, and the playoffs all together along the way. I don’t think there’s much of a difference between the Kraken, Blues, Predators and the Flames. LA would have to go on a decent slide to fall back into that group, and I (*vomits in mouth*) believe that the Oilers duo will carry them forward (I also expect them to get aggressive trade-wise in short order).
The Flames play a well structured game (to be expected from a Darryl team), but I just don’t think the roster has the skill required to be above that scramble for a playoff spot.
