Flames owners are shrewd business men, they know how contracts work. He will get a tribute because he was the best player on the team for many years, and he deserves it. There's absolutely no way an organization like the Flames snubs him of a tribute. No chance. I would be highly disappointed if they did.
I fully acknowledge he's going to get boo'd as well, but I still think many people are overplaying the idea that Gaudreau somehow screwed the team. He did nothing of the sort. A pending UFA has all the leverage and he used it. That's how it works. He made a really silly decision IMO, but that's a different story.

No, he got a contract and compensation because he was the best player on the team for many years, that is what he deserved.
Gaudreau played out his contract and was paid well for it. He's a highly paid professional and knows how contracts work.
He was compensated fully for his time as a Flame and is not owed anything further by the organization.
There was no clause in his contract saying he'd get a video tribute.
You're trying to have it both ways. If it's all business, he has been paid and is not entitled to a video tribute bonus.
If you wanna be all business, be all business both ways. Gaudreau did his obligations and so did the Flames.
You're now expecting something
extra to be done by the organization and saying you'll be
highly disappointed if it's not.
I am not expecting any extra to be done by Gaudreau.
