Like some on here, I was lucky enough to have followed and remembered the careers of both Lanny and Iggy. For me the tie breaker is hoisting the Cup. It's really all that matters at the end of it all. Who won a championship? So Lanny gets #1 in my books.
Then Iginla at a very close second. Had Jarome hoisted a cup, he easily gets the number one spot.
Vernon gets the goalie nod. Hometown boy, proven winner elsewhere, and a heck of a character.
And my off the board pick would be Bob Johnson. Terry Crisp merely babysat the blueprint that Bob Johnson built to make the 89 team a champion.
