Because no one in their bubble ever challenges this type of disinformation. People stormed the capitol on nothing more than a constant stream of disinformation. Despots and authoritarians around the globe gained power through disinformation and ignorance. Ignoring this type of noise is endorsement for many who are looking for conformation of their media stream.
