I would cheer for him during a tribute. I wouldn't cheer him on to beat the Flames. Wouldn't boo him either.
Don't mind others booing for the fun of it at the game. It's an entertainment product where tribalism is a big part of the experience people are there to enjoy.
Outside of his play against the Flames, I'm glad to have a reason to still follow such an entertaining player.
