I am far from an expert, but I think in general almost all birth control options for females have more risks than a vasectomy, which major drawback/feature is it’s permanence.
For us, I 100% know I do not want anymore children and my partner is in the same boat. So, me feeling like I got kicked in the junk for a week is pretty minor compared to any birth control options for her.
