The Panthers made the absolute blunder of loading up too much for a run that rarely happens when a team makes multiple huge adds at the end of the season. Chairot, and Giroux came at way too high of a price. Using 1sts on Reinhart and Tkachuk were solid moves in my opinion.
When I see fans here comment on trading for Pat Kane it makes me cringe at the thought of giving up Coronato and this years first for what may only be a 1-2 round run with no chance of retaining him which was basically what Florida did with Giroux
The Maurice hire was so puzzling. He has to be the most overrated coach in the league.
