Why is it reasonable to travel at midnight for a game that's at 7pm the next day? Why not let players sleep in Toronto and leave for St Louis at 11am the next day. It's a 2hr flight with a 1hr time change, so still get in at 12pm for a 7pm game.
Fine is more than fair.
