That shows how silly this is. That hour and a half wouldn't have made any difference to any of the players, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they players asked to leave early just because they were all already at the airport and wanted to get to their hotel earlier.
They shouldn't schedule any games on the 27th that require the visiting team to fly more than 1 hour. There are plenty of teams that are close to each other that they still could have had a decent number of games last night.

I don't think it's silly as it's a pretty cut and dry rule. The league has no choice but to act on it as you can't have teams slacking on this stuff as clearly it meant enough to players to bargain for it in the CBA.
